Madison Blair Cohen

About

Hi, I’m Madison Blair Cohen!

A passionate artist striving to produce art for the betterment of our world. I’m driven to push artistic boundaries, blur conforming lines, and render transformative pieces that spur change and inspire others to follow suit. I aim to become a storyteller — creating pieces that convey rich narratives by carefully depicting the moments in time I was drawn to seize.

Art allows me to illuminate diverse perspectives, creatively problem-solve, and break the silence. With art as my witness, I strive to capture the stark complexities of our world by showcasing the interplay of science, community, and socio-cultural challenges.

With this artistic mission at the forefront, I studied at the Rhode Island School of Design to satiate my growing curiosity and widen my reach. Over the past six years, an eclectic repertoire of drawing, painting, and design courses at RISD provided me with the professional skills to render humanistic pieces with compassion and subjectivity.

Currently I am pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Pennsylvania (Class of 2029), alongside a summer art residency at the New York Academy of Art (July 2026 cohort) and a plein air artist retreat in Nantucket, rendering commissioned landscapes in oil on canvas with the East Hampton Art Guild.

I hope you’ll follow me along my artistic journey — and enjoy the collection featured here.
